Guard Monitoring

Where innovation meets wireless technology, the GMU is a state-of-the-art stand-alone unit designed to monitor guards on patrol, in real time. Catering to a maximum of 20 guards on site via a tag-based system, in addition, the unit is also able to log in up to 20 supervisors visiting the site.

You can keep your site under control remotely, as the unit is able to report to the control room using the GSM data networks, via Long Range Radio, or by sending smses to 10 mobile numbers. Supervisors are able to set up shift and patrol parameters, and the GMU also boasts an on-board remote control receiver for guard panic and assistance requests. You can request 1-4 remotes per site and rest assured as the unit is mounted in a tamper-proof steel enclosure.

TX Cellular Plus

The TX Cellular Plus is a state of the art GSM/GPRS alarm transmitter that features dual network SIM functionality.

It is available with either SIM card carriers or the latest chip SIMs. It has seven programmable positive or negative inputs, two relay outputs and an on-board serial port with connection protocols to all the major control panels. Combined with a DTMF contact ID tip & ring interface and full SMS functionality across all interfaces.

Vehicle tracking has been around for at least 10 years, originally assisting in recovering stolen vehicles it has now become a tool for fleet managers to monitor their vehicles in real-time and record their driver movements.

Afri Guard has been monitoring our special operations vehicles via 3G, each vehicle is fitted with a forward looking camera that records the events in front of the vehicle, a camera recording the movements within the cabin, an accelerometer that measures the acceleration and deceleration of the vehicle, and a mobile digital video recorder with 4 channels and 1080P HD recording onto a 1.28GB SD card.

The result of this intervention has seen an improvement in driver behaviour , it has supported the drivers when accidents were not their fault and it provided evidence of vehicle abuse.
